Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the poetry workshop you presented at the retreat! I really like the poems you included in the handout as examples. Great workshop!

Thank you for making me love grammar. I was so afraid about that subject, but thanks to you I understand better and I really enjoy it. Thank you for being an excellent instructor and also a very good person!

When I think of a good leader, I think of Sharon. She transmits her confidence to her class because she speaks to us with calm tone of voice and inspires us to speak and express our ideas. Another quality is creativity. She made her class interesting and not boring at all. She played entertaining games and I learned in a different way through images. She is also very funny and nice.

I appreciate Sharon's skills as a wordsmith and her quick ability to recognize wordplay in a dream. She has real gifts as a visual artist and uses them to respond to dreams. And she is so willing to make significant life changes to be the person she wants to be.

Thank you all for attending last week's LIFE program, "Poetry of the Holocaust." We are grateful to have had Dr. Sharon Bippus come and speak with us to honor Holocaust Remembrance Month. Dr. Bippus, thank you for sharing your experience of visiting the concentration camps in Germany and for giving us the opportunity to participate and engage with the stories. I appreciate that you spoke about the Holocaust through a different medium we may not have been familiar with by looking at the Holocaust through the lens of poetry and art. It is a difficult subject to discuss and you did so with grace and empathy. We are grateful to have had you give a LIFE program, especially when remembrance is of such great importance.
